More Than A Test Score

Many feel that the college admission process is cold and calculating. They assume that Admission counselors look at you as if you're just made up of test scores and your G.P.A.

But at Hofstra University, we look beyond those things. While they are important, they are not everything. We know you are more than a test score. You have a personality, with goals and ambitions. Just because those aspects are not measured out of 2400 or on a 4.0 scale, doesn't mean they don't matter.

When you received an acceptance letter, you may have noticed a sticky note attached to the first year admittance packet. That note was handwritten by your admission counselor. It's usually about a unique part of your application.

Check out some of the notes shared by accepted students on Twitter.
